The vineyard is planted with a range of rootstocks matched to each of the 11 fruiting varieties. Drought tolerance is always a priority due to our quick draining, sandy, rocky soils and frequent high winds. All vines are drip irrigated with close monitoring of soil moisture and vine condition in order to create just the right amount of vine stress for each stage in the growing cycle. The high quality irrigation water pumped from our well in the sustainable Arroyo Seco Aquifer facilitates our goal of growing the highest quality fruit possible.
Fruit is harvested both by hand and mechanical harvester, depending on the clients needs. We can machine harvest into macro bins for customers that prefer the advantages of cool night harvested fruit delivered first thing in the morning but lack the equipment to receive truck tubs.
Our customers range from boutique wineries up to multinationals. We strive to provide not only the highest quality fruit but also great customer service to all of them.
